Windy City Top Chef!!

Top Chef has been filming here in Chicago for the past few months. In fact, they are using the kitchens where my husband went to Culinary School. I’m excited to see this season because, hey–it’s always fun to see places you’ve been and things you’ve seen. I do wish two things (people) were different. Do you remember back on season one when Billy Joel’s wife was the hostess? I LOVED her! I really do not like this Padma person. She’s too monotone–too boring to watch, and she’s an actress! Secondly, I can’t STAND Ted Allen. I couldn’t stand him on Queer Eye–he comes across as arrogant–but at the same time is the least qualified to be there. I wish those two would change. But I will watch it for Chef Tom Colicchio–even if he was doing it all by himself–I LOVE this guy!!
Top Chef Chicago–starts soon—and having seen and heard nothing…I’m going to pick Ryan as the winner. Mind you–that may change as the weeks go on, but just looking at the pictures–I’m going with him first! I picked Harold right at the beginning of Season 1–and never left him. He’s still my favorite!
