Let It Snow!!

We are having a major S.N.O.W. event here in Chicago. In fact, it’s the 25th of the year so far! From 2002 until now you could add the number of snow events per year together and you still wouldn’t come up with what we’ve had thus far!
The Chef called at 5 pm to let me know that as soon as the traffic in front of the restaurant lightened up, he would head out. He finally called at 10:30 on his way home! 5 hours later! Turns out all of those cars that weren’t moving out in front of his restaurant decided to head on into the restaurant’s bar and wait out the storm. Well, with a dining room and bar full of customers, he couldn’t very well leave. It was a huge dinner for them tonight, which on all accounts is great until you realize the fact that the Chef went into work at 7 am this morning!
I guess a 15 hour day isn’t all that bad!!
