Changing Cookie Tastes!!

Jake is just a few short assignments away from getting his Bear award in Cub Scouts. Tonight we are tackling the “Cooking” aspect of it! They want him to make Oatmeal cookies. As these are the only kind of cookie I eat, I’m kind of excited to have a little person know how to make them! Currently if I want an oatmeal cookie (a good one) I either have to make my own, or head to McDonalds for theirs!
I find it strange that growing up I was not an oatmeal cookie fan. They were my grandma’s favorite kind, but I liked Chocolate Chip. Now here I am, all grown up–liking Oatmeal cookies, and not liking Chocolate Chip cookies at all! What’s up with that!

Oh man! I love oatmeal cookies! (as long as they don’t have nuts in them!). They can have raisins though. Now, for the ultimate, have you had chocolate chip oatmeal cookies?
Does he have to make the cookies by himself or do you get to assist?

Wow, chocolate chip oatmeal cookies. Brilliant! I can’t say that I like either one better than the other. Any cookie is good to me!

Ooooh, I have never had an oatmeal cookie with chocolate chips–I may just like them then. I don’t like nuts either–as I’m allergic to most of them–But I will have to have him add the chocolate chips. I’m not sure I get to help him or not–but I’m not leaving the kitchen!
