Finishing Up The Kitchen Packing!!

We just got our closing letter from our Real Estate Attorney–yep, in this town everyone has to have their hands in the cookie jar–but we are closing on the 31st of August. That is just over 2 weeks away–so I finally decided to get everything going. It still doesn’t seem real–but it’s time to get started anyway. So today, I finished packing up the kitchen. I pulled everything out of the cabinets–and if I would possibly use it in the next two weeks I kept it out–and if I wouldn’t use it–I had to deal with it. If it was open or mush or expired or anything other than pristine–it went in the trash–and if it was fine–it was packed. Every one of my food cabinets is now empty and clean. I loaded the boxes back onto the shelves in the pantry–to keep them out of the way. I started with the kitchen gadgets–but so many need to go in the dishwasher that I only got the clean ones packed–I’ll finish the others tomorrow. I can’t believe how quickly the top cabinets went–now I just have the bottom ones–and they are a piece of cake!!
