Strawberry Shortcake!!

My husband has been making pound cake strawberry shortcake for a dessert choice at work the past couple of days. He makes them in mini loaf pans–and they are AMAZING!! He’s brought me home many the past couple of days. Strawberry Shortcake has always been my favorite–and his—mmmmmm! I’ve had shortcake with yellow cake, angel food cake, sponge cake–let me tell you—NOTHING compares to the pound cake! Yellow cake is in second–as the other 2 are just yucky!! But oh my, pound cake, strawberries in Grand Marnier, and whipped cream–TO DIE FOR!! If I could go back in time to my wedding–I would get rid of the Million Dollar fabulous buffet, and we would just have Strawberry Shortcake! Eh, nevermind–they buffet was amazing–and so cheap (it pays to marry the chef)–I will take them both!!!
