Planning the new kitchen!!

I’ve been looking at beautiful kitchens that I love. My husband would like all stainless steel appliances throughout the kitchen–and I would like to be able to use my “chef” collectibles. I like the olive green color in kitchens with stainless steel appliances, but I have always wanted a white kitchen with red accents for my chefs. So—I get to try to find a way to incorporate all of the things that we want in to just one kitchen! I keep vacillating from white cabinets to the dark rich cherry–again–dependign on whether I go with the olive or the red!!
Honestly–I’m just excited to have an open kitchen with lots of cabinet space and a built in dishwasher!! It’s been 5 years since I had a built in dishwasher–and I’m dying for one!!

Robin, to maybe help you decide, with kids, you might go for the darker stuff-you don’t notice the fingerprints so much. I like white, too, but am afraid of the extra mess to clean up.
